Vigil held for boy who died at Indiana Beach Campground

 MONTICELLO, Ind. (WLFI) – A vigil was held Thursday night to remember the boy who was killed at the Indiana Beach Campground.10-year-old Blaike Glassburn of Mishawaka was killed when a tree branch fell on his family’s tent Tuesday morning.

Nearly 100 people attended his vigil at the White County Courthouse.

Family members and friends prayed, read poetry, shared memories and played some of Blaike’s favorite songs.

Members of the Monticello Fire Department and representatives from Indiana Beach were also in attendance.

Family members said Blaike’s viewing will be June 24 from 6-8 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola, Indiana. The funeral will be the following day.
