Body of Bedford man pulled from Salt Creek
LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A man from Bedford was pulled from Salt Creek on Monday morning, according to Indiana Conservation Officers.
Officers say the body of 36-year-old Llyod Wilson was recovered in the water in Oolitic, Ind. A call came into police dispatch around 10:17 a.m. of a person struggling in the water behind a residence in the 1100 block of Lafayette Avenue.
The body of the man was recovered around 10:50 a.m. Officials say the body was found in approximately four feet of water.
An investigation was being conducted to find out why the victim went under the water.
Results from the autopsy were pending on Monday.
