Two escaped Fayette Co. inmates apprehended in Ohio

DAYTON, Ohio (WISH) – The two inmates who had escaped from the Fayette County Jail have been apprehended in Ohio.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, Chadwick Heath and Michael Roberts were taken into custody in Dayton, Ohio by the Dayton Police Department.

The officers said an anonymous tip lead to the capture of Heath and Roberts.

Heath and Roberts had been on the run after escaping from the Fayette County Jail Friday evening, around 11:30 p.m.

They are currently in an Ohio jail as they wait to be extradited back to Indiana.
