United Way hosting community baby shower Tuesday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — United Way of Central Indiana is holding a community baby shower Tuesday as part of United Way Worldwide’s “Day of Action.”
They will be accepting donations of new baby items from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Some of the items they suggest donating include:
- Diapers of all sizes
- Diaper cream, baby powder, baby lotion and baby body wash
- Baby wipes
- Onesies of all sizes
- Burp cloths
They will also accept new or gently used strollers and bouncy chairs as well as monetary donations.
Donations will be given to organizations like Catholic Charities, the Children’s Bureau, the Julian Center and Sheltering Wings.
