Take the first step to a world without Alzheimer’s

It’s a horrible disease that has an effect on residents and their entire families, but coming up later this year, the Indianapolis Walk to End Alzheimer’s hopes to help ease the burden. Colleen Lawson, Director of the Indianapolis Walk to End Alzheimers, and Janean Kinzie, Director of Memory Care at American Senior Communities, explain the importance of the walk and how teams can fundraise and participate.

Did you know? More than 5 Million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. It’s the 6th leading cause of death. Every 66 seconds someone in the US develops the disease and 1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or other dementia.

The 2016 Walk to End Alzheimer’s is coming up on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
