Hot Dog Eating Champion Joey Chestnut goes for 9th title

He’s done it eight times…. can he make it nine?! Joey “Jaws” Chestnut is an 8-Time Hot Dog Eating Champion from San Jose, CA, who just happens to LOVE to eat! He’s called “the greatest eater in history.” That is not empty editorializing or bloviating. That is empirical fact.

Chestnut defeated Kobayashi at the 2007 Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contests to return the Mustard Yellow Belt to the United States. That victory was the start of an unprecedented eight-year run at the top of the Nathan’s Hot Dog World; Chestnut was undefeated at the event he made his own through 2014. He is also adept at a wide variety of foods stuffs, notably chicken wings-he is the 2012, 2013 and 2014 Hooters Worldwide Wing Eating Champion-and chili. At the time of writing, Chestnut holds 40 World Records across 40 disciplines. That is a World Record of World Records.

These days Joey’s appetite is legendary, and he shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Keep your eyes open, world, because Joey Chestnut may be coming to a city near you soon!COME SEE THE HOT DOG CHAMPIONS IN ACTION
