Indiana Community Foundation to hold light festival
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A light festival is coming to canal in August.
It’s to honor the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis Foundation.
The Central Indiana Community Foundation is hosting the event along with IPL.
You can see the IPL building lit up for the official announcement.
The display was designed by artist Amanda Browder.
It’s her first time working with this kind of technology.
According to the CICF, the event is a way to commemorate a century of community impact, creativity and progress.
It will feature artists and performers from Indianapolis and other places around the country.
The festival will take place August 27 and 28 on the canal.
