Wendy’s employees robbed while locking up for the night
LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Three Wendy’s employees were robbed at gunpoint as they left the chain’s Teal Road location in Lafayette early Thursday morning.
Lafayette police said just before 1:30 a.m., the trio was approached by two men. One of the men showed a gun, and the victims were robbed of both cash and some personal property.
LPD said they are still investigating whether the men ran away or got in a car and left.
None of the victims were hurt.
Police said they will look at surveillance footage to get a better description of the robbers.
