Indianapolis community garden director reported missing

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police are searching for a missing woman who works as director of a local garden.

Carina McDowell was last seen walking to the bus stop around noon Thursday in the Riverside Park area, according to IMPD.

She might have taken bus routes No. 4, 6 or 30. She’s described as Caucasian, 5-foot 9-inches tall, 150 pounds with graying brown hair. She is in good health, police said.

McDowell is executive director at Fall Creek Gardens on Central Avenue, according to the organization’s website.

Anyone with information on her location is asked to call IMPD at 317-327-3424 or McDowell’s husband at 317-918-6712.
