Columbus police investigating CVS robbery

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – The Columbus Police Department is investigating a robbery that happened at a CVS Pharmacy on July 4.

Police said the robbery happened shortly after 5 a.m. at CVS located at 2423 North National Road.

Police said three men wearing hooded sweatshirts entered the pharmacy, passed a note to the pharmacist, and then stole prescription medication before leaving the pharmacy.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Police describe the suspects as black males who are approximately 20 to 30 years of age.

Columbus police detectives are working with officers in Seymour who had three suspects in custody from a pharmacy robbery that happened Tuesday morning.
