Costly coffee cravings: Starbucks is hiking drink prices

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Your daily coffee craving just got more expensive.

Starbucks is raising their prices later this month as part of an annual rate hike.

Starbucks didn’t comment on the increase in prices.

Some of the price increases were entered into their registers early and some customers were overcharged by as much as 30 cents before the official hike takes effect.

In other business news, Fort Wayne has some of the smallest apartments in the nation.

Rent Cafe said the average apartment in Fort Wayne was the 14th smallest.

1 bedroom apartments average around 889 square feet in the U.S.

Fort Wayne’s 1 bedrooms average only 650 square feet.
