Scooping for a cause: American Dairy Association Ice Cream Social

Have your ice cream and eat it too! Today on Indy Style, Nina gets the “scoop” on the American Dairy Association Ice Cream Social. Take a look!

– Friday July 8 from 11am-2pm

– On monument circle in downtown in front of Hilbert Circle Theater

– Ice cream sundaes scooped by local celebs (Colts Cheerleaders, Two Chicks and a Hammer’s Karen and Mina from HGTV’s “Good Bones”, international singing duo Lily & Madeleine [originally from Indianapolis], etc)

– Live cow from Purdue, as well as mascots, face painters, and live music

– All proceeds benefiting Girls Inc. (one non-profit to another)

– Indiana is #2 in ice cream production

– 27th year in a row for event

– Edy’s donated ice cream, Kroger donated toppings, Prairie Farms donated whipped cream
