2 arrested on prostitution charges after massage parlor raided

WARSAW, Ind. (WANE) – Police raided a Warsaw massage parlor and arrested two women on prostitution charges.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department and Indiana State Police troopers on Friday served a search warrant at Ying Massage at 493 South Circle Drive West on Warsaw’s east side. Investigators said they’d been investigating “criminal business practices” at the parlor for several months.

The search warrant was issued for investigators to search for and seize any items associated with the crimes related to corrupt business influence, evasion of tax, prostitution and promoting prostitution, police said.

After the search, two women – 28-year-old Yili Liao and 48-year-old Lilan Chu – were arrested on on misdemeanor charges of prostitution. They were both booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.

Police said the investigation into the business is ongoing and additional arrests are probable.
