More construction projects coming to Carmel

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – There are new signs about the progress of some major developments in Carmel.

Renderings have been placed along the Monon for projects at Carmel City Center, Midtown and a development at Monon and Main.

Pedcor, the developer behind the project at Carmel City Center, says construction is underway for a parking garage that will have four to six apartments attached and will have 28,000 square feet of commercial space. It is expected to be done next summer or fall.

The next two buildings they will start construction on will include retail, restaurant and office space. Those buildings are expected to take up to two years to complete.

Construction on the Kent Building, which will include two, three-story luxury apartment buildings, will also start in 2016.

Also on deck this year is a 20,000 square foot building of office space.

In 2017, they will begin construction on two five-story buildings with commercial space on the first floor and luxury apartments on the upper floors.
