INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry and IMPD Chief Troy Riggs announced charges against the man that shot at an IMPD officer’s house and car.

Tuesday, a man shot an IMPD officer’s home and car.

March Ratney has been charged with criminal recklessness and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.

Police said they believe the house was targeted because it was the home and car of an officer. Police said the suspect and officer did know each other, but it’s not clear if that was the reason behind the shooting.
