Uber delivering ice cream to Indy residents

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Gasoline prices continue their summer swoon and Uber is offering up ice cream in Indianapolis on Friday.

Jane King was live at the Nasdaq with those stories and more business headlines.

Pump prices nationwide have now fallen for 30 straight days. It’s the longest streak since August and September of last year and were at their lowest mark for this day since 2004.

AAA says approximetly a quarter of gas stations nationwide are selling gas for less than a $2.

In other business news, Uber is offering a sweet deal for the fifth year in a row. They are bringing ice cream to Indy. On Friday, the ride sharing app will bring frozen treats to anyone at just the push of a button.

Here’s how it works – Open the Uber app between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Set your location and select ice cream and place your order. The treat should be delivered within 15 minutes.
