Tinderbox bringing more than 200 jobs to Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Tinderbox is expanding and bringing hundreds of new jobs to Indianapolis.

Tinderbox officials announced Monday the company is rebranding under a new name, Octiv.

The changes comes as part of a plan to scale up sales and includes the creation of more than 200 high paying jobs at their headquarters in Indianapolis.

Indiana Economic Development Corporation President Jim Schellinger and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett were there for the announcement.

Hogsett said it’s all about talent attraction and retention.

“If we can continue as we have successfully done in last few years to attract talented people to move here, to come here to work live and play, then jobs will follow and the tech industry is a great example of that,” Hogsett said.

Tinderbox, now Octiv, will invest $3.2 million to expand its headquarters in downtown Indianapolis.

Octiv, is a global leading provider of sales productivity solutions for businesses.
