INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis man has been sentenced in a 2011 hit-and-run case.
Christopher Stimac took a plea deal in June. On Wednesday, Stimac was sentenced to three years for failure to stop after an accident resulting in death, a level C felony. Stimac will spend two years in the Department of Correction, with two years suspended.
In September 2015, Stimac was arrested for the 2011 death of 13-year-old Hadleigh Cave.
Stimac’s estranged wife called investigators in June 2015, leading to his arrest.
