CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – Children and families in Carmel are invited to attend the Annual Touch a Truck event Wednesday, July 20.

Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation are hosting this year’s event at the Carmel High School stadium parking lot.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon and costs $3 per child.

Children under two and adults are free.

The Touch a Truck event gives children the opportunity to use their imaginations and interact with many of their favorite vehicles.

“This is one of our favorite annual events,” said Traci Broman, Events Supervisor at Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation. “It’s great to see the kids’ faces light up when they hop into the front seat of a police car or fire truck for the first time.”

Those attending are encouraged to pre-register online at carmelclayparks.com.
