Police chase suspect down wrong way of I-70 WB

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A police chase ended in a crash that shut down Interstate 70 westbound early Wednesday morning.

All lanes of WB I-70 at I-465 were shut down after a pickup truck crashed into a semi.

Police believe the pickup truck was stolen and they started chasing the suspect. The suspect was driving on a suspended license.

The chase started near West Troy Avenue and South Lynhurst Drive on the southwest side.

The suspect went the wrong way down interstate before crashing into the semi.

Police say the suspect has minor injuries but everyone else involved in the crash is uninjured.
