CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — Some of the best high school singers in the country will perform in Carmel this week.
It’s part of the annual Songbook Academy.
40 high school students from across the country were selected to participate, including three from Indiana.
They have been participating in a variety of workshops at Carmel’s Center for the Performing Arts this week.
Wednesday, they will hold their first public performance. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. selected participants will perform and receive critiques.
Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. all 40 participants will perform.
The events on Wednesday and Thursday are free.
On Saturday, at 7 p.m., the participants will hold their final public performance. This is a ticketed event. For tickets, click here.
