Headliners announced for Indianapolis Wine Festival

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Headliners have been announced for the Inaugural Indianapolis Wine Festival.

The two-day event line-up includes:

• Friday, August 26 – Sara Phillips (5:30 p.m.) and Wildheart Band (7:45 p.m.)
• Saturday, August 27 – Sara Phillips (4 p.m.) and Kyxx (6 p.m.)

All live performances will take place on the Big Red Liquors Stage.

In addition to the musical acts, participants will have the opportunity to taste more than 250 unique wines from around the world and the best dishes from local chefs and restaurateurs at the American Legion Mall.

Guests will also be able to learn about Indiana’s wine culture, with tastings, sommelier-led seminars, and pairing tips from the region’s top wine experts.

The two ticket options include:

• The adult wine tasting ticket ($32 in advance, $40 at the gate) – 20 wine tastings, wine seminars, musical entertainment, the opportunity to purchase wine at a discount through Big Red Liquors and a souvenir wine glass upon departure.
• The designated driver ticket ($15) – Two non-alcoholic drinks, wine seminars, musical entertainment and a souvenir wine glass upon departure

Part of the proceeds from the event will go to Riley Children’s Foundation and Folds of Honor.
