Salvation Army opening cooling centers due to high temps
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Salvation Army is opening their cooling centers this weekend due to high temperatures.
The Salvation Army will open three Cooling Centers in Indianapolis:
- The Salvation Army’s Eagle Creek Corps Community Center at 4400 North High School Road
- The Salvation Army’s Fountain Square Corps Community Center at 1337 Shelby Street
- The Salvation Army’s Center City at 234 East Michigan Street
The centers will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The cooling centers will offer the following:
- Air conditioning
- A comfortable place to rest
- Hydration
- Light snacks
