Organization holds competition to celebrate, recognize Indiana’s Bicentennial

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – In 2016, Indiana will celebrate 200 years of statehood.

In order to recognize and commemorate this special moment in Indiana’s history, one organization is holding a competition.

Kendra Smith, the chair of the Indiana Daughters of the American Revolution Bicentennial Committee stopped by Daybreak.

Smith talked about the Salute Indiana Contest, a contest to saute Indiana and its flag.

The contest is only open to Indiana residents and submissions for the contest.
