1 dead after crash in Benton County
BENTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – One person is dead after a crash in Benton County, according to Indiana State Police.
Emergency personnel were called to the intersection of County Road 300 South and South Meridian Road in Benton County for an inverted car in a drainage ditch. State police believes two cars collided at the intersection.
A medical helicopter and ambulances from Tippecanoe and Benton counties were called to the scene. A reconstruction team was en route to the scene.
Five people were injured and one person was killed in the wreck, ISP said.
