Driver OK after car flips near train tracks

LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) – A man survived after his car flipped near a train track in Lawrence Monday morning.

The incident happened on North Post Road near the intersection of Michigan Street around 1:30 a.m.

Officers said the driver lost control of his vehicle as he passed over the tracks, causing it to flip.

Police had to cut the driver out of the van. They said the driver is OK, with just a few cuts and bruises.

He was transported to the hospital for treatment.
