Arrest made in connection to 2015 murder
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One man has been arrested in connection to a 2015 murder.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, 42-year-old Cory Wood is custody for the shooting death of 27-year-old Joshua Thomas.
The fatal shooting occurred just after 11:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of Crestview Avenue on September 25 of last year.
After arriving on scene, police discovered Thomas suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside an SUV.
The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Woody with murder, felony murder, and robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.
Woody is currently being held in the department of corrections on unrelated charges.
