Actress Gina Rodriguez launches new Verizon campaign

You know her from the hit TV series, “Jane the Virgin,” and now award-winning actress Gina Rodriguez is chatting about a campaign and contest that aims to encourage everyone to make the right connections and pursue their passions.

Gina is partnering with Verizon to launch “Bienvenido a lo Mejor,” a national campaign and contest to welcome consumers to the nation’s best network. Consumers can enter for a chance to exclusively connect with an influencer in beauty, music, sports or cooking by using #LoMejorDeMi and tagging Verizon on Twitter and Instagram and if selected will create a video alongside the influencer that will be shared socially.

Growing up in Chicago, actress Gina Rodriguez started performing at age seven. She went on to attend Columbia University’s New York Theatrical Collaboration and New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
