IU student plans to bike 100 miles to Riley Hospital
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indiana University junior, Michael Schmahl, is planning to ride his bike from Syracuse, Indiana to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis Wednesday.
He expects the ride to take about eight hours.
This is an effort to kick off fundraising for this year’s IU Dance Marathon.
Dance Marathon raises money to support the efforts of programs of Indiana’s children’s hospital.
Wednesday marks 100 days before the annual 36-hour philanthropic extravaganza.
