Police seek help in search for suspect in double fatal shooting
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police are seeking help in the search for a suspect in connection to a shooting that left two people dead and a child seriously injured.
According to IMPD, the double fatal shooting happened just after 6:30 on the evening of July 2 in the 2300 block of Magnolia Place.
After arriving on scene of the shooting in July, three victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds.32-year-old Justin Sims was pronounced dead on scene. 26-year-old Dangelo Brown was transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries. A 3-year-old child was taken to the hospital for his injuries as well.
Police released a sketch that depicts the suspect as a black male with a trimmed goatee and sideburns and a light complexion. He is also described as being his early 20s, and standing approximately 5’9″.
At the time of the shooting, police said the suspect was wearing a red and black Cincinnati Reds hat and a green hooded sweatshirt and a white shirt.
