DNR discusses recent black bear sightings in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources a media conference about the recent sighting of a black bear.

The meeting comes after the recent black bear sightings in Indiana.

The DNR said it’s possible black bears will re-establish populations in southern Indiana.

They want to educate everyone about the bears.

The conference took place at 1 p.m. at the Garrison at Fort Harrison State Park.

Fish and wildlife experts will give a short presentation and answer any questions you might have.
