Automaker moving more production to Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Spirit Airlines shakes up airline reward miles, and an automaker is moving more production to Indiana.

Passengers are getting used to the fact that many airlines now reward points based on ticket price instead of miles flown.

Instead, Spirit is completely flipping that idea.

It will instead reward points to customers who buy the cheapest fare for a limited time.

Spirit’s promotion is only good through August.

In other business headlines, Subaru is moving production out of Japan and to Indiana.

The automaker will increase production of the Impreza later this year.

The Indiana made Impreza marks the start of an all-new platform for Subaru, making for sturdier and more comfortable cars, fitting larger drivers.
