Indiana athletes arrive in Rio, take to social media

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Several Olympians with Indiana ties are preparing for Friday’s opening ceremonies in RIO.

Some are using social media to share their experiences.

The Fever’s Tamika Catchings and Pacer Paul George took a photo together in the plane on their way to RIO. Catchings posted it on Instagram.

Another Indiana pair, divers Carmel’s Steele Johnson and Noblesville’s David Boudia, are competing in part as a team.

The synchronized 10-meter platform duo showed the world part of their nutrition plan in a tweet.

Indiana University swimmers are sporting their crimson in a different way.

USA Swimming tweeted the picture below on Twitter, which shows how Lilly King and Cody Miller showed up to practice a few days ago.

Later, Cody Miller gave the world a glimpse into his world away from training. The tweet shows the view from his balcony in the Team USA villa. He called it a beautiful morning.
