Plainfield man injured after car flies, rolls 500 feet

PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WISH) – A young man is in the hospital after he was ejected from his car early Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 4 a.m. near Plainfield High School.

Police say that the man, in his late teens or early 20s, was driving very fast on Reeves Road in Plainfield.

He lost control and went airborne at State Road 267. The car then rolled.

According to police, the car finally stopped about 500 feet after it flew through the air.

Police say the man was alert when paramedics were on the scene. He was taken to the hospital.

His condition is unknown at this time.
