INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An unmarked IMPD car that was stolen from a home early Thursday morning has been located.

The vehicle was stolen from an officer’s driveway around 6 a.m. The car is a blue Ford Fusion with tinted windows. Police said the vehicle did not have the officer’s weapon inside.

According to police, two suspects were arrested Thursday afternoon. IMPD reported to a burglary in the 4200 block of Newburgh Drive.

Once on the scene, police were in a short foot chase with two teens. Once caught, officers found a gun and a set of car keys belonging to the stolen Ford Fusion.

According to police reports, two other cars were vandalized in the area. One report stated that a passenger window was busted out of a car in the 10000 block of Stoney Creek Court.
