Indy Animal Care and Control offering ‘Back to School’ adoption special
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Animal Care and Control is offering a “Back to School” adoption special.
Pet lovers can adopt a dog or cat for just $20 August 5 through August 13.
I can attest to the fact that children feel comfortable reading to a dog or cat,” says Susan Hobbs, IACC community outreach coordinator. “Many times, they read better to a pet than they do to a human. Having a pet around the house could easily be beneficial for kids, from learning how to care for an animal and forming a bond to helping with homework.
The adoption special includes:
- Spay/neuter
- Vaccines
- Microchipping
