Hogsett meets with community members to discuss abandoned housing

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett met with members of the community about abandoned houses on the an east side.

Hogsett met with community leaders on North Oxford street on Monday afternoon.

Crews began demolishing an abandoned property Monday as part of the mayor’s Hardest Hit Fund, Blight Elimination Program.

You might recall Hogsett highlighted the program during campaign advertisements.
