Firefighter Tim’s leg workout

Get a “leg up” on this back to school season!! Firefighter Tim says just because school is back in session and kids activities ramp up, doesn’t mean your workouts have to stop. Here’s a quick and easy leg and butt-blasting routine you can work in to your day!

Workout:

Start with single leg squats off a bench; do each leg for 10 reps. Move directly into single leg deadlifts and complete each leg 10-15 reps. Move directly into bench step-ups: 10 reps per side. From here, move straight into hip thrusters for 10 reps. Now do 6 side step squats, and we are going to finish with Glute kickbacks with or without a dumbbell: 8-12 per side. Let your legs rest for 2 to 3 minutes and repeat this rotation 3 times. During your rest periods is a great time to throw in some core and ab work!
