Dan Patch Festival Weekend Highlights:
• Friday, August 12:
o 23rd Running of the $300,000 Dan Patch Stakes Friday, Aug. 12
o Biggest race in the 23 year history – three world champion horses (Freaky Feet Pete, Wiggle It Jiggleit and Always B Miki) competing in a field of nine for the title.
o Club Centaur members can enter at Trackside Club Centaur on Friday, Aug. 12 from 2 – 9 p.m. At approximately 9 pm, 5 winners will win a $1,000 win bet on the horse of their choice on the Dan Patch race at Hoosier Park.
o Free KYXX concert in the Terrace Showroom after live racing
• Saturday, Aug. 13:
o Live racing begins at 4:30 PM with a special free concert after live racing by legendary country group Asleep at the Wheel in the Outdoor Music Center.
o The Thrillyard begins at at 4 PM, and features the ultimate in entertainment, intense flavors of fiery BBQ, energizing drinks, X-Games, helicopter rides and an Xtreme zip line – all in the Yard! Plus, catch the fireworks display at approximately 10 pm.
