Facebook blocking ad blockers on its site
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Facebook is blocking ad blockers on its site, and Indiana has the 15th highest closing costs in the nation.
Facebook users are about to see a lot more ads on the site.
Facebook flipped a switch on its desktop website that essentially renders all ad blockers useless.
About 200 million people worldwide are using ad-blocking software on their desktop computers, according to estimates from pagefair, an anti-ad-blocking start-up but they are a threat to publishers and sites that rely on advertising to survive.
In other business headlines, Indiana’s closing costs are in the top half of the nation.
Bankrate said they are the 15th most expensive. The total is 2,057 for a 200,000 home and a 20 percent down payment.
