Motorcyclist ejected in crash, dies from injuries

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A man has died after he was ejected from his motorcycle in a crash on Tuesday night.

According to the release, police responded to a crash scene around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of East 38th Street and Butler Avenue.

Police say there was a crash between a motorcyclist and a sedan. The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and the sedan had a good amount of rear damage.

The motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed when the sedan, crossing 38th Street, was struck in the rear passenger door.

The man on the motorcycle was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police say intoxication is not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
