Victim’s father says he caught accused child molester in the act
TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – A Tippecanoe County man faces formal charges for child molestation.
Prosecutors said the victim was 6 years old.
Michael Shoaf, 48, was arrested on August 2. The allegations came to light when the victim’s father told investigators he walked in on Shoaf during the act.
The victim told a forensic investigator Shoaf put his privates on her privates during multiple occasions.
Shoaf is in the Tippecanoe County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
