Techpoint Foundation receives nearly $300,000 for robotics kits

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A nearly $300,000 donation will help expand a robotics program statewide for students in Indiana. Former Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard and Karen Maginn, VP for Marketing for Guggenheim Life, stopped by 24-Hour News 8’s studios Tuesday afternoon to talk about the project.

The Statewide Robotics initiative is an expansion of the successful city of Indianapolis.

Ballard discussed his involvement with the initiative and why he thinks it’s important, and Maginn explained why Guggenheim got behind this.
