High school students building home to benefit west side neighborhood
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A new home will be built by students to benefit a west side neighborhood.
Students from Ben Davis High School will begin work this semester on a new house in the Drexel Gardens Neighborhood.
Those students are a part of the Area 31 Career Center’s Construction Trades Program. The vacant lot will be transformed into a new home by the spring.
Groundbreaking for the new home will be at 12:45 p.m. Monday.
