Lafayette police releases surveillance photo from VP armed robbery
LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Police have released a surveillance photo of the man investigators are looking for in connection to an armed robbery at a Lafayette Village Pantry.
The incident occurred Saturday, Aug. 6, shortly before 5 a.m. at the Village Pantry on Schuyler Avenue and 19th Street.
According to Sgt. Scott Galloway, the man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money from the register. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses told police the subject was a black man, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.
No injuries were reported.
