Two steal woman’s credit cards, charge over $2,000

PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WISH) – Two men recently stole a woman’s credit cards, charging over $2,000.

According to the Plainfield Police Department, the two suspects posed as home improvement workers to a 70-year-old woman.

Police said that while one of them was outside with the woman, the other went through her home.

While in the home, the suspect stole her credit cards.

After the theft, the two went to a nearby Wal-Mart where they put more than $2,000 on the stolen cards.

The two men were seen on the store’s surveillance cameras.
