INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police say a woman was not shot on the city’s south side.
IMPD began investigating after responding to initial reports of a woman was shot in the head Wednesday night on the city’s near south side.
Instead police now say the incident that occurred in the 2000 block of Boyd Ave. shortly before 9:30 p.m was a domestic-related incident in which the woman was injured.
IMPD said the victim was awake and alert at the scene.
