Suspect steals vehicle from downtown parking garage

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A male suspect is wanted for auto theft.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, on August 5 in the early morning, a white male stole a large vehicle and had it roll down the gate of a downtown parking garage, just far enough for him to roll under. The male then walked through the parking garage and stole a 2015 Audi A3.

Police said the male was wearing credentials around his neck. Police said the credentials may be from a downtown convention.
