1 dead, 18 injured in bus collision in New Jersey

 NEWARK, New Jersey (WTNH)– Two buses have collided into each other in Newark early Friday morning.

24-Hour News 8’s sister station, WTNH, said WABC is reporting that the New Jersey Transit buses ran into each other likely at high speed around 6:00 a.m. Friday at North Broad Street and Raymond Boulevard in New Jersey.

One of the buses appears to have been nearly split in half.

According to Newark Police Department, the driver of one of the buses was killed.

Several emergency and officers were on the scene.
