IMPD investigating man possibly trying to break into homes

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police say they are looking into reports of a man who may be trying to break into homes.

A WISH-TV viewer posted a picture of a man on our Facebook page, relating to a similar incident.

It was taken by a doorbell video camera in the 10500 block of Pintail Lane.

The photo shows the man wearing a polo shirt and khaki pants and holding gloves.

Residents said a man described as wearing similar attire attempted to enter a home nearby, according to an IMPD report. Residents say this is not the first time there has been suspicious activity in the neighborhood.

Police have not said if the incidents are related.
